First impression

Really delicious. Rich, full and sweet, with a lush character. It isn’t very complex, but it’s a definite Pass, verging on Class.

What I noticed

Dark cherry and a hint of spice. Not a whole lot of different fruit going on—just a lush, very enjoyable wine. Although it’s Southern French, it reminded me more of an Italian or Portuguese wine, which speaks for it.

Verdict

89/100. A definite Pass, verging on Class. I’d buy it again, especially at this price, although it probably won’t be a bottle I’ll drink for the rest of my days. For this vintage, though: yes, really nice.

Context

I think I paid about €7 for the bottle. Very nice wine for a very low price.
